Creative Crossings workshop

A triangular research network, practitioners from Britain, Canada and Finland, gathered in London to work on participatory and creative applications for mobile, locative and cross-platform media.

Creative Crossings was organised by m-cult, the Banff Centre and Arts Council England in April 2004. A research-based event rather than a conference, three days of workshops and conversation culminating at the Finnish Ambassador’s residence in Battersea. My full notes are here, and Anne Galloway’s collaborative summaries cover the shared thread.

Ambitions

The discussion is continuing, and the next informal meeting of participants is at ISEA 2004.
