I include Metafilter even though it is not a work of interactive narrative - it has been a shining example of a self moderated community of interest, that generates discussions around diverse subjects.
The sense of personal narrative in an environment like metafilter can be extremely compelling. Users are asked to post links to things that they find interesting on the internet, and to add a personal comment on the link. Other users can then comment, argue, discuss, and post further links that increase the understanding of the idea.
